With less than four months until the event where Samsung is expected to unveil its new flagship phones, many features of the Galaxy S25 series have already emerged. Although the exact date is not confirmed, the Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to be introduced by February. Today, new leaks have provided details about the battery features of the S25 Plus. Here are the details about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus…
Galaxy S25 Plus May Have the Same Battery as S24+
As Samsung’s S25 series, which is rumored to undergo significant changes in camera, design, and performance, approaches its launch, new details are emerging. According to recent leaks, the battery of the Galaxy S25 Plus might not meet user expectations.
The leaks suggest that the battery for the S25 Plus will be the same as the one in the S24+ model. The S25 Plus is expected to feature a 4,755 mAh battery, which might actually be presented as 4,900 mAh, aligning exactly with the Galaxy S24+.
Although this battery capacity might be sufficient for such a device, a more advanced battery in a new flagship model would have been preferable. Considering that the S24+ model came with a 4nm processor, the S25 Plus, expected to use the 3nm Exynos 2500 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processors, could potentially offer longer battery life.
On the other hand, it is also anticipated that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will use the same 5,000 mAh battery as the S24 Ultra. From this, it can be inferred that Samsung is focusing on more efficient battery use and longevity rather than increasing battery capacity.
